Nettement Chic (NC): What does Christmas mean to you?

Sylvie: Family! Every Christmas, my husband, the children and I leave London behind to get together with the people that mean the most to us… even if doing so requires multiple journeys and heavy suitcases!

First stop, Belgium. We meet up with my parents, my sisters and their little ones at my childhood home and spend some quality time together. After Belgium, it’s the Côte d’Azur! Same great family atmosphere with my brother and sister and their children, with the constant sunshine being a much appreciated bonus!

This year, I’m especially excited because we’re going to South Africa! We’re counting down the days – especially the children, who can’t wait to see Father Christmas in a swimming costume ;-)

NC: What is the chicest present you have ever received?

Sylvie: My husband bought me a beautiful Chanel bag for his 40th birthday. I thought it was an incredibly selfless gesture and I absolutely loved it!

NC: What do you dream of finding under the Christmas tree this year?

Sylvie: A new computer, or perhaps...
